Okay, something I had to learn the hard way in Taiwan...don't jump to conclusions, especially with food. I had imagined this would be like the 四川麻辣涼面 (sìchuān má là liáng miàn) they have in Yes Plaza...I was so hungry at that time...I wasn't in the right state of mind when I was listening to it in Chinese. So my head heard my stomach instead. Yep...so it wasn't at all what I expected but I like 酸辣湯 so I thought it was no biggie, but once I started eating it...omg let me tell you, it was like that oyster pancake experience all over again...I don't know why...but they like making food here with gelatin textures. ._. Not my cup of tea. :(
